A parallel support member (23) is constituted by a pair of links (24), (27) that are respectively arranged on the left and right sides of a second boom (13). These links (24); (27) are connected between a first boom (12) and a third boom (15). Thus, the second boom (13) is moved to the left or right side by an offset cylinder (20). In this case, when one of the links (24), (27) pulls the third boom (15), the third boom (15), an arm (17), and a bucket (18) can be moved toward the left or right side of a vehicle body to be parallel to the first boom (13). At this time, the links (24), (27) accept a force exerted in the pulling direction, but need not receive a force exerted in the compression direction, so that the cross sectional areas, the weights of these links can be reduced.
