A single-dimension gas electron multiplier digital imaging radiation detector comprises an electrolytic electron generating part(110), a gas electron amplifying part(120), and an output part(130). The electrolytic electron generating part includes an incident window(111), and a first spacer(115). The incident window includes a transparent window and a cathode. The transparent window can be plated through sputtering or pulsed laser deposition. The gas electron amplifying part includes at least two gas electron multipliers. The electrolytic electron generating part is formed of a material that can transmit or block an X-ray, Gamma ray or a charged beam.
