A measuring probe for measurements in metal or slag melts is provided to simplify assembly in comparison with a conventional measuring probe and reduce manufacturing costs. A measuring probe for measurements in metal or slag melts includes a measuring head(1). The measuring head includes a plurality of channels(2). The channels are disposed to surround a longitudinal axis of the measuring head. A sensor(3) is disposed in the channels. The channels support an introduction tube for a sample chamber(6). The sample chamber is fixed to an end of the measuring head opposite to a dipped end. Fireproof cement is filled in the channels to fix the introduction tube and the sensor. Ends of the sensor or the introduction tube projecting beyond the dipped end of the measuring head is covered by a protective cap(8).
