<p>Plate or sheet metal blanks are deep-drawn by shaping with a matrix that is subjected to underpressure or a vacuum, the blank being clamped immovably across the shaping direction and between the matrix edge and a blank holder, over the part which overlaps the matrix edge, at least towards the end of the shaping operation. Pref. the method is used for the prodn. of shaped non-ferrous plate or sheet metal parts.</p> |
