<p>The device (1) has a light guiding body, which is mounted with ferrules (3). A transmitter with a signal transducer (4) and a receiver with a signal receiver (5) are provided with a terminal box (6). The ferrules are guided in the terminal box. The signal transducer and the signal receiver have a circularly bounded measuring field. The measuring field corresponds with the diameter and the profile of the light guiding body. The field is concentrically aligned to the center of the circumference of the ferrules. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting the device for controlling a fiber optic cable.</p> |
