A cowl cross member is provided to prevent the interference between a wire harness and other components by attaching a wire harness on the inside of a cowl cross member and to decrease weight by being assembled with a pair of primary and secondary bars and manufacturing a primary bar attached with connectors by injection molding. The invention relates to a cowl cross member(100) for preventing the interference between a wire harness and other components and reducing weight, which includes a hollow(11) inward to insert and fix a wire harness(10) which supplies power to electrical components of a vehicle to couple with a side frame of a vehicle and many connectors(13) longitudinally to connect the wire harness with electrical components of a vehicle. The cowl cross member is formed to have the polygonal cross section by coupling a primary bar(20) and a secondary bar(30) in the longitudinal direction, wherein the primary bar is manufactured with a press method and the secondary bar is manufactured with a molding method.
