MOBILE COMMUNICATION CAPABLE OF VIDEO PHONE SERVICE AND MESSAGE AT SAME TIME AND SERVICE METHOD THEREOF

A mobile communication terminal and a method for simultaneously providing video telephony and message transmission/reception functions are provided to improve service quality by allowing a user to check a text message without terminating video telephony when the text message is received during the video telephony. A mobile communication terminal includes a concurrent packet/circuit process module. The concurrent packet/circuit process module switches the mode of the mobile terminal into a concurrent process mode for video telephony and a text message as a user checks a received text message after the video telephony is commenced, and outputs the text message to a window different from a window of displaying the video telephony.
