FIELD: production of lime-and-sand articles such as panels, blocks, bricks and landscape architecture. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes impregnation of surface of silicate article with solution or solutions of salts of bivalent or trivalent metals, drying in medium of saturated steam, application of pattern contour on silicate article surface by layer of paraffin followed by impregnation of sections of surface free from paraffin layer with solution or solutions for obtaining monochromatic or polychromatic pattern. Surface of article is coated with layer of paraffin on which pattern contour is scratched at subsequent impregnation of sections of surface free from paraffin layer with solution or solutions for obtaining monochromatic or polychromatic pattern.
