<p>The connection has a piston rod (7) fastened to a piston shaft housing (4) of a piston (3) using a fastening unit (5) that comprises a flange. The fastening unit is designed as a rotationally symmetric component and stays in effective connection with the housing and the piston rod. A damping unit is arranged between a shoulder of the piston rod and a stop of the fastening unit, where the shoulder radially points outward.
