A disc drive is provided to have high reliability by maintaining a relative accurate position under high-temperature environment and perfectly recording and reproducing signals. A plastic main base(20) supports a tray(24) to be capable of being entered and exited, and has a base and both sides(22) upward extended from both sides of the base. A cabinet of metal material is combined to cover an upper part and the both sides(22) of the main base(20). A pair of depression parts(14a,14b) downward protruded are formed in an upper surface of the cabinet to be capable of supporting internal sides of the both sides(22) of the main base(20).
