A car audio device for performing authentication by using the recognition of a fingerprint is provided to prevent the robbery of the car audio device and perform electronic settlement by composing a fingerprint recognition sensor which authenticates the fingerprint of a driver. A fingerprint recognition sensor unit(4) receives fingerprint information of a driver. A microcomputer(2) controls the fingerprint recognition sensor unit(4) to receive the fingerprint information, and compares the received fingerprint information of the driver with stored reference fingerprint information of the driver. When the received fingerprint information of the driver is identical to the stored reference fingerprint information of the driver, the microcomputer(2) drives a car audio device. When the received fingerprint information of the driver is identical to the stored reference fingerprint information of the driver as a result of the comparison of the microcomputer(2), an electronic settlement device(12) approves electronic settlement according to the settlement selection of the driver. An RF(Radio Frequency) communication device(13) transmits and receives the settlement information with an external settlement server according to the approval of the electronic settlement device(12).
