A car audio device including a Hi-pass terminal is provided to solve traffic delay by composing the Hi-pass terminal and automatically performing billing. A tuner unit(3) receives a radio signal. A deck driving unit(9) plays a cassette tape. A CD(Compact Disc) play unit(10) plays a CD. A function selecting unit(6) selects and outputs one of audio signals outputted from the tuner unit(3), the deck driving unit(9), and the CD play unit(10) according to the control of a microcomputer(2). A power amplifying unit(7) amplifies the audio signal outputted from the function selecting unit(6). Speakers(8,14) output the audio signal amplified in the power amplifying unit(7) as an audible frequency band. A hi-pass terminal(4) communicates with a hi-pass server and performs settlement. The microcomputer(2) controls the hi-pass terminal(4) to perform the settlement according to settlement information requested in the hi-pass server.
