<p>The device has a retaining chamber for a main battery with a set of battery and/or rechargeable battery cells for supplying direct-current voltage, and device contacts for electrically contacting corresponding battery contacts. A power supply (10) is removably inserted into the chamber, where the power supply is connected with a supply voltage at a primary side and is designed for providing necessary direct-current voltage at a secondary side. The power supply has contact units (12a, 12b) for contacting the device contacts. An independent claim is also included for a power supply for insertion into a battery-retaining chamber of an electrical device.</p> |
