QUICK SOLIDIFICATING APPARATUS

A quick solidifying apparatus which can manufacture various types of continuous ribbon-shaped metals is provided. A quick solidifying apparatus comprises: a chamber(100) in which a predetermined space is formed; a tundish(200) into which molten metal is charged; an orifice(300) installed under the tundish; a rotation wheel(400) installed at an inner side of the chamber and spaced apart from the orifice in a predetermined distance; and vertical and horizontal moving means(500,600) for adjusting vertical and horizontal distances between the tundish and the rotation wheel. The quick solidifying apparatus further comprises a collecting basket(700) installed under the orifice to prevent impurities from being added into molten metal during tapping.
