FIELD: medical equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: handle of electric device for brushing teeth has drive for brush mechanism, control unit for drive and bushing for mechanical connection of brush member. Control unit is provided with device for blocking operation made for switch out or in by means of switch member. Handle is provided with reading-out device and communication coil for contact-free data transmission and reading-out, which data comes from switch ember. As a result, depending on output signal of reading-out device the operation blocking device switches off or on.
