<p>A method for manufacturing lightweight insulating constructional material is provided to produce the constructional material containing light aggregate obtained from drain sludge, as well as cement paste and filler, by admixing the drain sludge with specific binder selected from clay sludge, fly-ash and waste fine tailing material to form the aggregate, and combining the aggregate with cement paste and filler. The method includes the steps of: preparing lightweight aggregate by uniformly mixing 10-90wt.% of drainage sludge with the binder selected from clay sludge, fly-ash and waste fine tailing material, forming, drying, and calcining the formed materials; dry admixing the lightweight aggregate with filler; and introducing the admixture into a cement paste containing cement and water. The produced constructional material comprises: 10-25vol.% of the cement paste, 40-70vol.% of the aggregate and 20-35vol.% of the filler. The cement paste further contains 0.5-2wt. parts of a water reducing agent, 0.5-2wt. parts of a thickener and 0.5-2wt. parts of a foaming agent or a bubble forming agent.</p> |
