An ink jet printer is provided to selectively operate a plurality of injection nozzles using a controller to readily form various types of color filters and increase productivity. An ink jet printer includes an ink jet head. The ink jet head is moved to selectively operate only an injection nozzle(120a) disposed on a red resin layer to inject a red resin(130). Then, the injection nozzle(120b) of the ink jet head(110b) containing a greed resin(140) injects the green resin on a glass substrate, on which a green resin layer is to be formed. At this time, the injection nozzle on the glass substrate is only selected. Then, the ink jet head is moved to inject the red resin and the green resin onto a second row. The injection nozzle(120c) of the ink jet head containing the blue resin is selectively operated to inject the blue resin onto the glass substrate.
