A stereo image output apparatus without an image reversing circuit and a method for manufacturing the apparatus are provided to satisfy an orthogonal polarization condition even though two LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) devices are used and eliminate necessity of an image reversing circuit. A stereo image output apparatus includes a first display device(100), a second display device(200), and a half mirror(300). The first display device includes an LCD panel having two polarization filters respectively attached to the front side and the backside thereof, and a back light unit which is located behind the LCD panel and provides light to the LCD panel. The two polarization filters have a polarization angle difference of 90 degrees. The second display device includes an LCD panel and a back light unit located in front of the LCD panel. The LCD panel of the second display device is horizontally rotated by 180 degree with respect to the LCD panel of the first display device. The second display device is located at 90 degrees to the first display device. The half mirror is placed between the first and second display devices at 45 degrees to the first and second display device.
