A system and a method diagnosing a menu are provided to offer an optimal menu by correctly/efficiently diagnosing suitability of the menu formed by a user for a predetermined period, and reporting a diagnosis result. An interface(10) receives menu information, which comprises at least one menu provided for a set period, to be diagnosed. The first diagnoser diagnoses at least one of a calorie ratio, a nutrition ratio, menu duplication, color combination, and taste combination of the menu information. The second diagnoser diagnoses at least one of recipe distribution, food material distribution, the menu duplication, economical efficiency, and preference of menu information. A diagnosis result generator(30) generates and provides a diagnosis result for the menu information based on the result of the first and second diagnoser. A menu generator provides a plurality of menus, and generates the menu for the set period by combining the menus according to selection of the user. |
