An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to reduce the whole size of the outer region of an LCD panel, thereby securing the maximum effective display area of the LCD panel, by improving the structure of a frame unit wrapping the outer region of the LCD panel. An LCD panel assembly(100) includes an LCD panel(110), a data driving part(130) for transmitting data driving signal to the LCD panel, and a gate driving part for transmitting gate driving signal to the LCD panel. A mold frame(300) for receiving the LCD panel is composed of plural sidewalls. A protrusion(320) is upwardly extended from an upper end of at least one of the sidewalls of the mold frame. A front cover(600) is positioned outside the mold frame. The front cover is bent from an outside wall of the mold frame to wrap the protrusion of the mold frame so that an end portion of the front cover is contacted with the LCD panel.
