INPUT METHOD OF DATA USING TACTILE SENSOR

A method for inputting data with a tactile sensor is provided to integrate functions of present data input devices by using the tactile sensor variously applicable as a single data input device, as the tactile sensor detects force and speed pressing a touch board. A scan area of the tactile sensors arranged in a matrix shape is divided into key areas according to function selection of a user(S200). If the user touches the touch board after division, touch power and pressing force are detected(S600). Input data is recognized by a detected touch power and pressing force component(S700). The function selection selects whether the data input device is used as a keypad or a touchpad. If the keypad function is selected, whole area of the tactile sensor is divided into the same number of the key areas as the general keypad. If the touchpad function is selected, the whole area of the tactile sensor is divided into the same number of the key areas as the general touchpad.
