<p>The present invention provides a digital broadcast recording apparatus which canprevent unnecessary recording in situations where descrambling is not possible or prohibited during scrambled video recording. The digital broadcast recording apparatus includes: a descrambling judgment unit (515) which detects a channel where a descrambling-not-possible situation occurs; and a service manager (1204)which terminates the recording and writes, into a management table, that a descrambling-not-possible situation has occurred during recording, when there is recording data showing that recording is being executed on the channel which is detected as having the descrambling-not-possible situation.</p> |
