A disk brake system for a vehicle is provided to heighten braking efficiency by forming a disk rotor in a hollow disk and mounting a wheel on the outer circumferential surface, and installing a caliper through a hollow of the disk rotor, thereby moving the action spot of wheel cylinders from the center of rotation of the disk rotor to the outer side. The disk brake system for a vehicle contains a disk rotor(7) formed in a hollow disk and installed on the inner circumferential surface of a wheel(5) connected to a driving shaft(1) by a hub(3), a caliper(11) fixed to a knuckle(9) and installed through a hollow(19) of the disk rotor, wheel cylinders(13) installed on the inside of the caliper correspondingly to two sides of the disk rotor respectively, and a brake pad(15) inserted between each wheel cylinder and each side of the disk rotor. Hereon a flange(17) is integrated along the inner circumferential surface of the wheel to fasten with the disk rotor.
