A plasma display is provided to improve contrast characteristic by adjusting a ramp-up waveform supplied to a scan electrode in a reset period in accordance with the temperature of a plasma display panel, thereby preventing a discharge error. Scan electrodes are arranged in a plasma display panel. A scan driving unit supplies a first ramp-up waveform to the scan electrodes when the temperature of the plasma display panel is a first temperature, and supplies a second ramp-up waveform different from the first ramp-up waveform when the temperature of the plasma display panel is a second temperature. The scan driving unit includes a ramp-up supplying control unit(200) for generating ramp-up waveform by a setup voltage and supplying the ramp-up waveform to the scan electrodes, and a gradient adjusting unit(210,220) for adjusting the gradient of the ramp-up waveform.
