A method and an apparatus for attaching a soundproof material are provided to not generate a noxious material and improve an economical efficiency by rapidly attaching a soundproof material without using adhesives. A method for attaching a soundproof material includes the step of: attaching a first soundproof material to a second soundproof material by an ultrasound wave melting. The ultrasound wave melting includes the steps of: cutting the first soundproof material and the second soundproof material at the same size(S1); closely adhering the first soundproof material to the second soundproof material(S2); locating the first soundproof material on a shelf of a melting machine to locate the first soundproof on an upper plane(S3); and compresses the upper plane of the first soundproof material at a vibrator installed on an end of a cylinder by lowering the cylinder; and attaching the first soundproof material to an upper plane of the second soundproof material by melting a surface of the first soundproof material through a vibration(S4).
