A display device is provided to improve the assembling efficiency and reduce the assembling time, by improving the structure of a container such that a protrusion of a frame is inserted into a joining hole of a fixing flange part. A light source irradiates a rear surface of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel with light. An optical sheet(31) is positioned above the light source. A container receives the optical sheet. The container includes a frame(81) forming an external appearance, a protrusion(83) protruded from an edge of the frame in a receiving direction of the optical sheet, and a fixing flange part(85) extended from the edge of the frame in an outside direction. The fixing flange part has a joining hole(86) joined to the protrusion. |
