MULTI-RIBBED POWER TRANSMISSION BELT

摘要

A multi-ribbed power transmission belt is provided to manufacture easily by coextrusion-molding a carcass, a reinforcing layer and a rib layer continuously and to increase durability by having the same tensile strength on a joint as other parts and preventing stress concentration phenomenon on the joint. The multi-ribbed power transmission belt is formed in a three-layer structure composed of a sheet type carcass(2) keeping the tension of a belt, a reinforcing layer(1) protecting the carcass and a rib layer(3) forming a rib of the belt. The carcass is manufactured by forming a resin composition of poly butylene terephthalate resin and poly ethylene terephthalate resin and extrusion-molding the resin composition in the type of a sheet having a thickness of 0.1~2.0mm, and the reinforcing layer and the rib layer are manufactured with one or two kinds of thermoplastic elastomers having excellent physical properties such as strength, elastic force, etc.
