A novel turfgrass cultivar of Poa pratensis L.( Inje) is provided to increase green period, growth rate and individual density, and improve resistance against disease, dryness and cold, so that compact green turfgrass surface in all seasons is prepared. The novel turfgrass cultivar of Poa pratensis L.(Inje) has the properties of (a) green period of about 10 months, (b) leaf color of dark green, (c) plant height of 19.3-20.3 cm, leaf length of 16.3-17.3 cm, leaf width of 2.9-3.1 mm, and earing stem length of 52-62 cm, (d) earing amount of 8.5 score and late maturation degree, and (e) bands shown at B of OPB-10 primer, A of OPB-14 primer, F of OPB-15 primer, E of OPB-20 primer, A of A+B, 5-F+R SCAR(sequence characterized amplified region) marker and B of 7-6-F+R SCAR marker, and bands not shown at A of OPB-4 primer, A, C, D of OPB-5 primer, and C of OPB-15 primer which are analyzed by using RAPD(Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA).
