An oxygen sensor signal applying method for a vehicle engine is provided to prevent operation error caused due to a deteriorated oxygen sensor by storing and applying a signal of a normal oxygen sensor as an optimum oxygen sensor signal. An oxygen sensor signal applying method for a vehicle engine, includes a first step(ST100) of modeling an optimum output signal from signals output of an oxygen sensor, and storing the modeled signal; and a second step(ST200) of applying the signal modeled in the first step to an actual oxygen sensor signal. The first step includes a sub-step(ST110) of sensing the oxygen sensor signal of the case where emission of nitrogen oxide is minimum, and a sub-step(ST120) of storing the signal sensed in the previous step. The second step includes a sub-step(ST210) of setting the amplitude of the oxygen sensor, and a sub-step(ST220) of setting cycles for each operation range.
