DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FAILURE RECOVERY FOR SYSTEM USING AMBA INTERFACE

A device and a method for recovering failure in a system using an AMBA are provided to enhance reliability/stability of the system using the AMBA interface by excluding failed or disabled peripherals from the AMBA interface, and configuring the AMBA interface with the remaining peripherals. An address decoder(310) decodes an address for selecting a slave based on an address signal. A read data multiplexer(320) multiplexes and transfers read data received from each slave to a master. A response signal multiplexer(330) multiplexes and transfers a response signal received from each slave to the master. A ready signal counter(340) sets up the response signal of the slave as an error state in case that the standby state of a ready signal of the slave in the wrong operation is over a reference time by counting a standby state of the ready signal received from the slave in the wrong operation. The ready signal counter sets up the response signal of the remaining slaves as a ready state and outputs the response signal.
