A plasma display panel is provided to lengthen a path of an electrode and to increase a facing surface area between electrodes by forming an electrode structure with a zigzag shape or a parabolic shape. A scan electrode(201) and a sustain electrode(202) including a transparent electrode and a bus electrode are formed on a front substrate(200). A rear substrate(215) is opposite to the front substrate. A plurality of barrier ribs(211) are formed between the front substrate and the rear substrate in order to define a plurality of discharge cells. The scan electrode and the sustain electrode are formed across the discharge cells. The scan electrode and the sustain electrode are parallel to each other in an oblique direction.
