PHOTOCATALYST SOL, AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

A photocatalytic sol in which fine titanium dioxide particles are uniformly dispersed to obtain good surface hardness and adhesive force and excellent transparency when coating the surface of an object with the photocatalytic sol, and a preparation method of the photocatalytic sol are provided. A photocatalytic sol is prepared by mixing 100 weight parts of a titanium dioxide powder with 0.5 to 2 weight parts of a titanate type dispersing agent, 1 to 20 weight parts of a dispersing agent with an amine group or an acid radical, 15 to 25 weight parts of a silane coupling agent, and 300 to 2,000 weight parts of ethanol. A preparation method of a photocatalytic sol comprises the steps of: mixing ethanol with a titanium dioxide powder, and sequentially mixing the mixture with a titanium dioxide powder and a dispersing agent with an amine group or an acid radical; milling and dispersing the mixture in a ball mill for 3 days or more to prepare a titanium dioxide mixed sol; and adding a silane coupling agent to the titanium dioxide mixed sol, and stirring the mixture at a temperature of 100 deg.C or less for 12 hours or more.
