A drum washer and a method for assembling a shaft system thereof are provided to reduce noise and damage by including a buffering material capable of dispersing and absorbing the load and vibration transferred from a drum to the shaft system. A drum washer includes a drum(12), a motor(20), and a flange shaft(31). The motor rotates the drum. The flange shaft is connected with the rear surface of the drum to transfer the rotational force of the motor into the drum. A buffering material(40) is provided between the drum and the flange shaft to disperse and absorb the load and vibration transferred from the drum to the flange shaft. The absorption material bonds the drum with the flange shaft by filling a gap formed between the drum and the flange shaft.
