A manhole having the locking function is provided to promote the convenience of installation and maintenance for a manhole cover by locking and unlocking a manhole cover easily using pressurization by weight and the principle of a lever. The manhole having the locking function comprises a cover frame(100) provided with an end projection(110) projected along the inner circumferential surface to place and support a manhole cover, a manhole cover(200) equipped with a circular contact support(210) projected along the edge of the bottom to be contacted and supported to the end projection of the cover frame, a guide box(220) opened downward and provided with operating grooves(230a,230b) and through holes(221a,221b) and a guide rail groove(222) opened in the longitudinal direction, a pair of weights(300a,300b) inserted to the guide box of the manhole not to be separated and provided with hanging grooves(310a,310b), fixing spaces(320a,320b), guide rails(330a,330b) and projecting ends, an elastic spring(400) put on the surface where a pair of weights face each other, and fixing bars(500a,500b) penetrated/exposed via the through hole of the guide box and the fixing space of the weight and fixed by striking with a hammer to insert each weight to the guide box of the manhole cover not to be separated. |
