A donor substrate and a method for manufacturing an organic electro luminescent device using the same are provided to prevent an organic film from being torn and stuck when transferring the organic film to an element substrate by LITI(Laser Induced Thermal Imaging). A donor substrate(80) includes a base film(50), a light-to-heat conversion layer(55), a buffer layer(65), self-assembled monolayer(70), and a transfer layer(75). The light-to-heat conversion layer(55) is located on the base film(50). The buffer layer(65) is located on the light-to-heat conversion layer(55). The self-assembled monolayer(70) is located on the buffer layer(65), and is made of an organic molecule having a carboxyl group ligand. The transfer layer(75) is located on the self-assembled monolayer(70). The buffer layer(65) is made of hydrogenated silicon. The transfer layer(75) is an organic film having the small molecule substance. |
