The spool includes a housing, a main shaft, a tilted drive handle preloaded by an elastic member, and a primary pinion activated by the drive handle and coaxial to the main shaft. Furthermore, the spool includes a line winding coil coaxial to the main shaft, a coil braking mechanism, and a multi-stage planetary gear type speed changer interposed between the coil and the primary pinion. The speed changer includes a secondary pinion, three satellite gears, and a crown. A free wheel connects the crown to the primary pinion.
