A mobile communication terminal and a method for implementing a scroll function by using the same are provided to make it unnecessary to memorize or search for a menu individually when a user executes a desired function and to easily execute the menu and its dependent menus through abbreviated numbers. A mobile communication terminal comprises a key inputting unit(110), a storage unit(130), a controller(120) and a display unit(140). The key inputting unit includes keys which output the first signal or the second signal according to pressure put on the keys. The storage unit maps items group by group and stores the mapped items. The controller controls extraction of the items, affiliated to a group matched with the key, from the storage unit if the first signal is inputted from the key, and execution of an original function defined at the key if the second signal is inputted from the key. The display unit displays the control result of the controller.
