A method for transmitting a code in a motor controller of a hybrid car is provided to remove code retransmission by minimizing a code transmission error of a motor controller of the hybrid car. If new data is received from a PC while the motor controller keeps a standby state, an ID of the new data is stored as a received ID and the number of received IDs is increased(S3). Succession of the IDs is determined by increasing the stored ID as many as one and comparing the increased ID with the received ID. The received ID is stored as the previous ID and it is checked whether block transmission is finished. If the block transmission is finished, a completely received block is programmed to a flash memory by comparing the number of received blocks with the number of blocks transmitted from a transmitting side(S7). If an error is found in the received block, retransmission of the current block is requested(S8).
