A bitumen binder comprises bitumen, a flux comprising ricin oil and/or its derivatives, preferably an ester and siccative. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a concentrated mother solution of the polymer useful to prepare the bitumen binder; (2) a bitumen-granulate composition comprising the binder and granules; and (3) an additive for bitumen-polymer binder or mother solution comprising the flux and a siccative.
