<p>The axle assembly, comprising a cross-member (1) with a support (2) on each end of a wheel (3), has each support able to turn about a pivot (4) located in front of the wheel's axis of rotation (Y) when in forward motion. The pivot lies in the wheel's central plane (V) and within its inner volume, and is located on the end of a bracket (41) with upper and lower bearings. Each wheel is also equipped with a locking assembly (8, 9) that holds the wheel in a stright-line position until released.</p> |
