An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to overlap the first and second link lines and to connect the first and second link lines by a connection conductive layer. The first and second substrates are located oppositely. A gate line and a data line are located crossly on the first substrate and define a pixel area. A thin film transistor is formed on the area crossing the gate and data lines. A pixel electrode is connected with the thin film transistor. The first link line(280) is extended from the data line. The second link line(180) is overlapped with the first link line and connected with the first link line through a connection conductive layer(350). A liquid crystal layer is formed between the first and second substrates. The connection conductive layer is overlapped on the first and second link lines. A passivation layer(600) is formed between the first link line and the connection conductive layer.
