An automatic side brake locking apparatus for a vehicle is provided to improve traveling stability of the vehicle and prevent accidents by automatically operating a side brake when a foot brake is exploded. An automatic side brake locking apparatus for a vehicle includes diverging oil paths(15), an orifice, and a diverging valve. The diverging oil paths are formed at a front wheel oil path(13) and a rear wheel oil path(14), which transfer an operation oil pressure of a master cylinder(12). The orifice is disposed at each operation oil pressure diverging part, and measures an operation oil pressure of a brake transferred to the front wheel oil path and the rear wheel oil path. The diverging valve selectively open the front wheel oil path and the diverging oil path, or the rear wheel oil path and the diverging oil path. The diverging oil path is coupled to an introduction portion(22a) of a side brake operation cylinder(22), and a discharge portion of the side brake operation cylinder is coupled to a master cylinder. A controller measures a brake liquid pass pressure and a speed to operate the diverging valve. |
