<p>A vehicle interior component and an assembling method for the vehicle interior component are provided to forming a continuous display surface by coupling an outer sheath and an accessory with a base panel and foaming materials. An instrument panel(20) used for vehicle interior assembly contains a base panel(22), an outer sheath(24), and foaming materials(28) placed in a hollow(26) between the outer sheath and the base panel to make the instrument panel soft to the touch. The assembling method for the instrument panel comprises the steps of coupling an outer sheath and an accessory by inserting an accessory in a vacuum mold chamber to engage with a visible surface of the vacuum mold chamber, lining up an outer sheath with the vacuum mold chamber and applying vacuum force to the vacuum mold chamber to collaborate the outer sheath with the accessory to form a continuous display surface(32) along a transition zone between the outer sheath and the accessory, forming a base panel by injection molding, and coupling the outer sheath and the accessory with the base panel and foaming materials in a vacuum mold.</p> |
