A hydraulic rack gate is provided to make installation and repair works easy by installing a driving unit composed of a hydraulic cylinder, toothed wheels and a rack on the upper part of a water gate frame, and to prevent the corrosion caused by inundation and to extend service life by installing a driving unit higher than the surface of the water. The hydraulic rack gate(A) comprises a driving unit(4) installed on the upper part of a water gate frame(100) to locate higher than the surface of the water, protected by a stainless steel cover(120) and composed of a primary rack(41) coupled to a cylinder rod(422) of a hydraulic cylinder(42) installed perpendicular to the water gate frame, a primary toothed wheel engaged with the primary rack and a secondary toothed wheel(432) installed on the same shaft as the primary toothed wheel, and a water gate(2) installed to make two ends inserted to a guide rail(110) of the water gate frame and equipped with a secondary rack(22) connected with the driving unit.
