A solenoid valve for a brake system is provided to be easily installed only by mounting a solenoid valve to a modulator block, and to thereby reduce manufacturing costs and improve productivity. A solenoid valve for a brake system includes a valve housing(20) integrally formed with a coil case(23), a valve seat(40) installed in the valve housing, an exciting coil assembly(50) assembled in the coil case of the valve housing, a valve core(70) installed to advance into the exciting coil assembly, an amateur(80) moving forward and backward within the exciting coil assembly and the valve housing, and a restoring spring(84) installed between the amateur and the valve core. The valve housing has a cylindrical shape with a through hole(21) formed in the longitudinal direction and a locking step-shaped flange(22) to be fixed to a modulator block(100). The valve housing has an inlet(24) for introduction of oil and an outlet(25) for discharge of oil. |
