A device for detecting the density of antifreezing solution and an amount of coolant is provided to improve durability of a car by appropriately managing the coolant amount and the antifreezing solution density always. A device for detecting the density of antifreezing solution and an amount of coolant includes a coolant reservation tank(1), a gravimeter(2), a resistance gauge(3), an ECU(Engine Control Unit), and a warning gauge(4). The gravimeter is installed with moving up and down by buoyancy of the coolant in the coolant reservation tank. The resistance gauge is connected with a top of the gravimeter. The resistance gauge detects up and down movements of the gravimeter and inputs a detection signal in response to the detected movement to the ECU. The resistance gauge is connected with an input terminal of the ECU. The warning gauge installed on a dashboard is connected with an output terminal of the ECU to easily recognize insufficiency of the coolant amount and the antifreezing solution density. |
