The split heat accumulator (1) for hot- and/or industrial water, comprises two heat sources, a heat consumer, a storage part (2) partially or completely filled with latent heat storage materials, and other storage part (3) filled with water, which is heated by a solar energy absorber. The heat consumer with the storage parts is serially connected in a circuit. The heat accumulator forms a structural unit, with which the storage part filled with the latent storage materials is arranged above the other storage part. The accumulator consists of a further structural unit. The storage part is filled with paraffin emulsion, which consists of water or water glycol with micro-encapsulated paraffin. The storage part exhibits an expansion tank for the compensation of the latent heat storage volume. The paraffin emulsion is heated directly by a heater (9), which directly or indirectly heats a heat exchanger (4) and is circulated by an agitator or pump. The heat accumulator is a reheating device arranged downstream to the heat exchanger. The medium of the heat consumer flows through another storage part firstly and afterwards flows through the storage part filled with latent storage materials. An independent claim is included for procedure for the operation of a split heat accumulator. |
