A method for controlling dehydration of a drum washer is provided to prevent rotation of the washing water in a washing tub by stopping a drum, discharging washing water, and accelerating the drum when the water level of the washing water is higher than a predetermined water level during the acceleration of the drum. A method for controlling dehydration of a drum washer includes the steps of: (a) discharging the washing water in a washing tub through a discharge pump when a dehydration signal is input(S110); (b) dehydrating the water absorbed in the laundry by accelerating the drum and measuring the water level of the washing water(S120); (c) determining whether the drum acceleration time elapses(S130); stopping the drum and returning to the step(a) if the measured water level is higher than or equal to a predetermined water level and returning to the step(b) if the measured water level is lower than the predetermined water level(S140) when the drum acceleration time does not elapses; and stopping the drum and discharging the washing water in the washing tub if the drum acceleration time elapses(S160). |
