A noise preventing structure for a fuel tank is provided to divide an inner fuel accommodating space of the fuel tank by using an elastic baffle and to disperse the forward flow of fuel by the baffle during sudden braking of a vehicle. A noise preventing structure for a fuel tank includes a baffle(200) installed in a fuel accommodating space(120) formed in a fuel tank(100) to accommodate fuel. The baffle defines the fuel accommodating space into about three parts. A central space(121) surrounded by the baffle and left and right spaces(122,123) formed out of the central space. Since the baffle is made of an elastic material, such as soft plastic, to have a predetermined shape, the baffle restores an original shape after external force is removed. Baffle left and right membranes(210,220) positioned to be farther apart from each other as running from the rear side to the forward side of the fuel tank. The fuel tank has a complex shape and upper and lower widths of the left and right membranes of the baffle are different corresponding to the shape of the fuel accommodating space.
