The procedure for transporting a strip of a non-woven material (WE) on a conveyor belt (100) that has at least one section (100a) where it rises at an angle and/or varies in speed differs by applying an electrostatic charge to the strip and/or conveyor belt in the aforementioned section, with the charge covering at least the full width of the non-woven material.
